In the Moon

I love the state of my United States
I love the common way that, that it is
the glamour that makes it famous

The warmth of the parties we participate
the glory of our flag is built with faith
Hamburgers: weak meat for losers

Where can we go?
where can we go?
to put our feet into the moon

How can we fool
ourselves with unfair rules?
wanting to let our heads in the moon

in the moon...
in the moon...

I bless the dirty stars of Texas Highway
I adore the guitar humming our prayers
the glamour that deceives global cameras

"Join the navy", said Mister President
thinking we're still a silly young trench
I'm afire 'cause I won't accept these liars

Where can we go?
where can we go?
to put our feet into the moon

How can we fool
ourselves with unfair rules?
wanting to let our heads in the moon

in the moon...
in the moon...
